Description
Palekh Plate, Issue 401, 1988 – Russian Tales Collection This exclusive plate is the only official release of the work of renowned Palekh artist Gleb Lyubimov, based on the famous poem Ruslan and Lyudmila by A.S. Pushkin. Created in the traditional Palekh miniature style, Lyubimov used natural gold and intricate paints to produce this exceptional piece, specifically for this edition. Produced in 1988, this plate marks the first issue in the Russian Tales collection, originally crafted in the Soviet Union at the Vinogradovsky Porcelain Factory. With its intricate design and rich use of precious metal pigments, it is a unique art object, not for food use. The plate features a beautiful border and has been fired for 195 days, making it a rare and valuable collector’s item.
