From the Gilbert and Sullivan series.
Gilbert and Sullivan collaborated on 14 operas from 1871 to 1896. Since then, they’ve become the most frequently performed series of operas in history and are still performed throughout the world today.
The Royal Doulton's Gilbert and Sullivan series is a collection of figurines and other decorative items that depict some of the memorable characters from these operas, such as Sir Joseph Porter from "H.M.S. Pinafore" and Ko-Ko from "The Mikado." The series is a tribute to the enduring popularity of Gilbert and Sullivan's works and the enduring appeal of their memorable characters.
